XUV 500 Aero

The xuv 500 aero will expected to launch in July 2018. It has a new and amazing looks which makes the car the beast in the "looks" segment. It will launch around the price of INR 15- 19 Lakhs. The only 2 things which I personally don't like but everyone's thinking is different so may be you like these things.

1. The touch screen display is now like a tablet which I personally don't like. They should keep the touch screen same as the xuv 500.
   
2. May this time xuv 500 aero is a 5 seater car!!!! not a 7 seater suv car.
   

There are some good features which will force you to buy this beast. The features are listed below-

INTERIOR

The Mahindra XUV Aero interiors will have innovative design features with the sophistication of equipment, such as multi-information instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system with surround sound system. The seat matrix will have a second-row seat for three occupants and the third-row seat would not be available in this model, unlike the sibling model of XUV 500. The Mahindra XUV Aero features will include comfort and convenience features, like a multi-zone air conditioning system, audio and cruise control buttons on the steering wheel, and versatile luggage space with a foldable second-row seat.

ENGINE

The Mahindra XUV Aero specifications will have a 2.0 L mHawk diesel engine producing a power of 140 PS and 320 Nm torque.The XUV Aero model will also be available with 2.2-litre petrol engine with the power of 212 PS. The XUV Aero transmission system would be available in six-speed manual transmission and six-speed automatic transmission versions with the rear wheel drive and drive mode selection feature as well.

BRAKING AND SAFTY

The XUV Aero braking system will have disc brakes on all wheels with anti-lock braking system and electronic brake force distribution. The body design would be made up of strong material to withstand collision impacts and reduce the tendency for dents on the body panels. The XUV Aero safety features on offer would include dual airbags for the front, and side and curtain airbags for effective protection against frontal and side impact collisions.

PERFORMANCE 

The Mahindra XUV Aero performance would be enhanced with a refined mHawk diesel engine and the new petrol engine on offer. The XUV Aero can reach a speed of 0-60 kmph under 6 seconds as per the claim from the manufacturer. The drive quality of the XUV Aero would be enhanced with drive selection features, such as race, off-road, street and sport modes, altering the suspension settings as desired by the driver and the occupants.

EXTERIOR 

The Mahindra XUV Aero exteriors are designed on the platform of coupe SUV models with two suicide door design. The front profile would be at par with the existing XUV 500 model, with new projector head lights with daytime running lights, sharp design of the bonnet and the front grille giving it a dynamic stance on the road. The side profile will have two doors with suicide door design as featured in the showcased model. The rear profile will be made much sleeker in design as compared to XUV 500, leaving a magnificent luxury coupe SUV image on the road.

MILEAGE 

The Mahindra XUV Aero mileage for the petrol engine version would range at around 14 kmpl and the XUV Aero diesel mileage would range at 19 kmpl as per the claim. The mileage factors could vary slightly depending upon the final design, including the drive mode selection feature. The maximum fuel economy can be expected in the street and sport modes, and the race and off-road modes will be there for high power with comparatively lower fuel economy.

We cannot say about the disadvantage about the car because it has been not launched yet. So you can ask the salesman before buying it.
